SATED
(The Food Container Project)

SATED (The Food Container Project ) was an event created, organized and curated by artist Steven Mogck to help bring awareness to the epidemic of hunger in the Delaware Valley. The one night only affair took place at James Oliver’s Hot-Bed Gallery in Philadelphia, PA on December 7th 2018. Proceeds from the event were donated to Philabundance, a local food bank in the Delaware Valley that helps those in need.

The food containers were constructed by Mogck using high quality water-color paper then distributed to 15 National and Philadelphia artists. The Artists were given 100% artistic freedom on the content and style of their containers. A total of 125 containers in all were created for the event.
